Every Contribution is Valuable
The Skip Viragh Charities, Inc., was created as a nonprofit organization in 2003 to augment financial support at leading research institutions in order to find an early detection method for pancreatic cancer, reduce the mortality rate and eradicate the disease; and to assist organizations that strive to enhance the quality of life for children with serious health problems.
While we remain committed to the goals of The Skip Viragh Charities, as well as to continuing the legacy of late Rydex Investments founder Skip Viragh, we discontinued the Skip Viragh Charities in 2009 due to the economic environment.
Thanks to your help, we were able to donate more than $1 million to The Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins and to grant dozens of wishes of Make-a-Wish® Foundation children, all of whom suffer from life-threatening illnesses. We know that Skip Viragh would be proud of the differences The Skip Viragh Charities made in the lives of others, and grateful for your help.
Every contribution is valuable to these two charitable organizations, and we encourage you to contact them directly to contribute.
- The Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins, an international leader in pancreatic cancer research
- The Make-A-Wish® Foundation, a nonprofit organization that fulfills the wishes of children facing life-threatening illnesses
